Sanipex Group offers transformative solutions

01 June 2024

Bathroom lighting can significantly enhance personal washrooms, transforming them into calming retreats, says Sanipex Group, a leading provider of luxury lifestyle solutions.

“Bathroom lighting is often underestimated, but it plays a crucial role in setting the ambience and functionality of the space. Lighting adds an element that soothes, invigorates, and completely transforms the bathroom,” says Kerrie Black, Group Merchandising and Marketing Director of Sanipex Group. “Our collection empowers customers to create a bathroom that reflects their personal style and caters to their specific needs.”

The group offers a carefully curated selection of bathroom lighting solutions from renowned global brands – each selected for its quality, craftsmanship, and cutting-edge design – catering to diverse design preferences, ranging from industrial-luxe and modern minimalism and to Art Deco glamour.

Brands such as Bover, Carpyen, Contardi, Faro Barcelona, Ole! Lighting, Olev, and Zafferano that lean towards the sleek and minimal with architectural lighting options, offer a simplistic look. For those who prefer high-end, sculptural pieces that embellish any space and create a spa-worthy ambience, the group offers solutions from Artemide, A Emotional Light, Fritz Fryer, Hind Rabii, J Adams & Co. Lighting, and Vistosi, which are known for their exquisite craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Sanipex Group’s bathroom lighting solutions are designed to suit various settings, from residences and luxury hotels to high-end restaurants. These products are crafted from on-trend materials like glass, metal, ceramic and metal mesh.

Pendant lights add depth and drama.

Pendant lights add depth and drama.

Sanipex Group acknowledges the dual purpose of bathroom lighting – providing illumination for daily routines and setting the desired mood – and emphasises the importance of considering functionality when selecting products. The collection caters to various needs, including task lighting for grooming, accent lighting for a spa-like atmosphere, and general lighting for overall visibility.

The group offers pendant lights for high ceilings, adding depth and drama above, say, a freestanding bathtub or for flanking mirrors. Wall lights are suitable for spaces with lower ceilings and for task lighting at vanities or as mood lighting. Ceiling lights provide general illumination in high-humidity environments.

Sanipex Group promotes a layered approach, allowing for customised lighting based on need. This can involve combining pendant and ceiling lights with strategically placed wall lights around mirrors. For smaller spaces, a single ceiling or wall light can suffice.

The company also highlights how strategically placed bathroom mirrors can double as task lighting sources, seamlessly integrating functionality with aesthetics. Its own luxury bathroom brand Bagnodesign brand offers LED-illuminated mirrors that provide a soft glow for evening routines. Additionally, the Moon Dance mirror by Aliseo, exclusively supplied in the Middle East by Sanipex Group, offers mains-operated, wall-mounted or freestanding options and six finishes with 50,000 hours of maintenance-free LED illumination.

Safety

Sanipex Group prioritises safety in its bathroom lighting collection.  All lights are suitable for areas with water and humidity.

“Products with an IP45 rating or higher are ideal for Zone 1 areas directly above baths or showers, while IP44 rated lights are suitable for Zone 2, within a 60 to 75 cm radius of water sources. For Zone 3, outside these areas, lighting with a lower IP20 rating that allows for more design flexibility can be used,” Black says.

By layering up beautiful ceiling, pendant and wall lighting from the group’s diverse and high-quality selection, a stunning bathroom or washroom interior that redefines the most personal of spaces can be created, she concludes.
