3M Gulf has released a new CD promoting 3M's thin transparent film that is said to strengthen glass and reduce the risk of it shattering on impact.
"3M's Scotchshield safety and security window films reduces the hazard to humans if glass is shattered," says a spokesman for the UAE-based 3M Gulf, which is the regional arm of the diversified US manufacturer 3M. "The films have long been used as a precaution against natural disasters and crime. Virtually invisible, the films hold glass in place upon impact."
He continues: "Security agencies around the world have chosen 3M as an approved supplier of window films to embassies. Scotchshield also protects the windows at important government buildings, banks, airline offices as well as numerous airport terminals throughout the world."
The new CD, which demonstrates the features of Scotchshield, is being promoted to regional firms involved in safety and security, facility managers and security institutions.
