Hilton opens its seventh hotel in Turkey

International hotels group Hilton has opened a new hotel in Konya, its seventh property in Turkey.
Hilton Konya is located beside the Sel-uk University campus, overlooking the city of Konya, 15 km from Konya Airport and 20 km from the centre of town on the Konya-Istanbul highway.
The hotel has been designed in conjunction with Masera Ð a large new shopping and entertainment complex.
Blending high technology and modern architecture with elements of Sel-uk and Ottoman arts, the 25-floor Hilton Konya comprises 277 rooms including 79 executive rooms and seven suites.
Designed for the business traveller, the executive rooms are spread over eight floors. executive room guests have access to the exclusive clubroom lounge where they can enjoy complimentary breakfast, drinks and snacks throughout the day, as well as panoramic views of Konya and its surroundings.
The hotel also offers a range of dining and entertainment options.
Hilton Konya has also invested substantially in its 3,500 sq m health club and sports facilities.
For conferences and banqueting, ÔHilton MeetingsÕ facilities provide nine state-of-the-art meeting rooms, a fully equipped business centre and PC work units.
For special events there is a multifunction room, which can accommodate up to 500 people and a ballroom for 1,200 people, which can be divided into two sections.
