Furniture China in September
Shanghai: China National Furniture Association and Shanghai CMP Sinoexpo International Exhibition Company are organising the Furniture China 2003 which will be held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre from September 10 to 14. The show is expected to spread over an area of 90,000 sq m, an increase of 11 per cent from 2002. More than 4,000 overseas visitors will come over to this show, a 20 per cent increase over the 2002 event.
Furniture China 2002 concluded as a great success. It drew about 800 exhibiting companies occupying 3,500 stalls over 80,000 sq m and a total of 52,496 visitors.
Office show set for Turkey
Istanbul: High-tech office furniture set in the new millenium's functional and aesthetic interiors will be on show at Office Tech 2003, an office furniture, equipment, decoration and technology fair in Turkey.
Organised by Tuyap Fairs And Exhibitions Organization in cooperation with Omsiad Office Furniture Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association of Turkey, the event will be held during September 11 and 14, at Tuyap Fair, Convention And Congress Center, Beylikdiizii in Istanbul.
On show will be office furniture, floor and wall coverings, separation panels, archive systems, conference systems, lighting units, office accessories, stationery, office security and control systems, finance technology, office machinery, presentation techniques, communication, CAD, leasing companies and trade publications.
A total of 130 exhibitors and agents from 13 countries participated in Officetech 2001. Tuyap, the leading fair organiser in Turkey, has so far organised 465 domestic fairs and exhibitions in cooperation with 120 professional institutions on 50 different topics over the past 22 years.
Structural openings in spotlight
Sharjah: A specialised expo on structural openings - such as doors, windows and blinds - will be staged next year at Expo Centre Sharjah.
Front 2004, which will run from March 14 to 17, will be jointly organised by Durma Messe Stuttgart International and Expo Centre Sharjah.
The expo is the first of its kind in the Middle East, and is expected to draw more than 150 exhibitors.
'Our objective, apparent from Front 2004, is to create better business opportunities for the regional and the international markets by providing tailor-made options for the various industries,' said Durma Messe's Eckhard Schlecht.
The expo is also being supported by BVT - the National German Federation of Door and Gate Manufacturers.
