01 September 2003

Constru India 2003, the largest Indian construction and contracting trade show, will be held at the MMRDA Complex, Mumbai, India from November 11 to 14, 2003.

The organiser claims that the exhibition, the fourth one in as many years, will see the participation of six major sectors of the construction and contracting sectors under a single roof.
The exhibition will feature success stories in the construction sector and according to the organiser, will function as a one-stop venue for getting a 'ringside' view of the developments in the Indian construction sector.
'The Constru India 2003 conference will bring together business leaders, governments and associations to address the development of India's infrastructure,'' says Ashish Gupta, project director of Winmark.
He continues: ''The three-day conference to be held concurrently with the exhibition, will feature presentations on opportunities opening up in the construction sector as well as the application of state-of-the-art technologies, equipment and materials.
''The exhibition will showcase the sectors of building and construction, water technology and treatment, air conditioning and refrigeration, glass and ceramics, marble and machinery, bathroom fittings and accessories.''
Constru India 2003, jointly organised by India-Tech Foundation (ITF), an industry association for international techno-economic co-operation, and Winmark Services, the official exhibition organising arm of India Tech Foundation, will bring together architects, contractors, specifiers, consultants and decision makers from the infrastructure industry from all over India.
The 2003 exhibition will feature over 200 exhibitors occupying approximately 9,000 sq m.
