Forum to discuss water technology
Manama: Nurnberg Global Fairs together with the Bahrain Ministry of Commerce and Industry will organise Water Middle East, an international forum for water technology, at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre, for the first time, this October.
The technical consultant for the exhibition is the Euro Institute for Information and Technology Transfer in Environmental Protection GmbH (EITEP), a partner company of the most important German associations, the Deutsche Vereinigung des Gas and Wasserfaches (DVGW) in Bonn, FIGAWA (Bundesvereinigung der Firmen im Gas and Wasserfach) and RBV (Rohrleitungsbauverband).
The exhibition and conference, will cover self-contained but interlinked elements. The opening event will involve a platform discussion on privatisation in the water industry. Speakers from 16 countries will present 40 papers on technical solutions to the problems faced by the water sector.
The exhibitors will present their company and services at the exhibitors forum.
Index 2003 draws 1,200 exhibitors
Dubai: As many as 1,200 exhibitors from 52 countries are set to attend Index 2003, the 13th annual international furniture and design exhibition which will be held in Dubai from October 7 to 11.
This year's event boasts 20 per cent more floor space and exhibitor stands than last year and two additional national pavilions, bringing the total to 26, the popular Arabshop and two new focus areas: textiles and furniture production.
The event, which is being held at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre, is organised by dmg World Media Dubai.
