Qatar set to stage Indfec

01 March 2004

Some 300 firms are expected to promote their products and services at the fifth Doha International Furniture, Decoration and Construction Exhibition (Indfec), which will be held from May 5 to 8.

The trade exhibition, which will spread over a total area of 10,000 sq m at the Qatar International Exhibition Centre (QIEC), is being organised under the patronage of the Economy and Commerce Minister Shaikh Mohamed bin Ahmed bin Jassim Al Thani.
According to Qatar Expo manager Ammar B Anabtawi, the exhibition is considered to be one of the major platforms that brings together the world’s best expertise in furniture, decoration and construction. It will allow exhibitors the opportunity to come face to face with decision makers and provide an insight into major new projects opportunities not only in the state of Qatar, but also in the Middle East region, he said.
Esmat R Selim, managing director of United Group, of which Qatar Expo is a unit, said the event will open up many mutually beneficial business partnerships.
Anabtawi said the total exhibit area was being expanded this year to provide visitors with a wider range of products. Companies wishing to participate in the exhibition can register online through Qatar Expo website www.qatarexpo.com.qa.
