JCB sets greater goals for growth
Straffordshire: JCB dealers from around the globe descended at JCB’s world headquarters in Rocester, UK, for an international conference designed to push the company to greater heights.
The event was staged over nine days and played host to 750 delegates from 86 countries.
JCB sales managing director Françoise Rausch said: “We have some of the best dealers in the world and this is a fantastic opportunity to share JCB’s aims and aspirations for the future. While JCB is a world leader in the construction equipment arena, there is huge potential out there for growth and the conference is an important forum for us all to share ideas on generating additional sales.”
Roadex to focus on key issues
Dubai: Emphasising the economic importance of the road industry in the Middle East and to demonstrate the achievements of the region in meeting these challenges, the UAE will hold its first exhibition dedicated to roads, tunnels and bridges – Roadex 2004. The exhibition will aim at promoting various development prospects and address key issues related to the region’s national networks.
The exhibition will be a platform for the demonstration of innovative, state-of-the-art technologies and practices. Its scope encompasses all elements of road transportation, including design, construction, operation, maintenance and engineering management. It will bring together leading contractors, developers, suppliers and highway and transportation officials under one roof, says the organiser.
Roadex 2004, the Abu Dhabi international road exhibition and the second Gulf Conference on Roads, will be held this month (March 14 to 17) at the Abu Dhabi International Exhibition and Conference Centre (ADIEC), Mussafah Road, Abu Dhabi.
