Union Architectural Hardware, a leading UK-based architectural security hardware supplier, is once again expanding its product range in a bid to meet the requirements of the professional end-user as well as the traditional trade/wholesale market.
The company’s already comprehensive product range will have two new segments added as well as an expansion of the door closer range, says a company spokesman.
Union has made available the new 700 Series residential lever handle range through its Union Design Centres in each region within the Middle East, starting last month with the facility in Dubai set up in joint venture with Al Moajil. The range consists of eight decorative designs on roses as well as seven designs on long back plates. The levers are available in six popular finishes, including polished brass and satin nickel – complete with escutcheons, emergency releases for bathrooms and at highly competitive prices.
“The new 700 series is going to be a great addition to the immensely popular X985 series mortice locks,” says Robert Vos, regional director for the Middle East. “You will get a high quality, affordable and fashionable lockset package, just what the end user is after today.”
Union has also partnered up with Azbe from Spain, another quality hardware supplier from the Assa Abloy group, and launched the security bolt mortice lock, dead lock and various multi-point locks, last month.
“As the demand in high security is increasing, this new partnership with Azbe will fulfil the required needs in the market,” says Iain Mackenzie, export director Union UK.
Union has also doubled the size of its family of door closers with the launch of the Union Signature range. This additional package of door closers comes with a specially designed and very decorative, stylish rounded cover. Complete with flat form arms, BS EN 1634-1 fire rated and BS EN 1154 performance-tested, the range is available in all popular finishes from power sizes 3 to 5 in three different models.
All the new products will enjoy the full 10-year warranty that Union extends to all its quality architectural products, says Vos.
The company is also gearing up for the launch of more exciting products over the next six months. The products that are being developed include a wide range of aluminium door locks, floor springs and various accessories.
Clearly, Union Architectural Hardware seems to be targeting the ever-growing specification market.
“A product range is never complete as there is always room for growth to fulfil the important customer demands. And Union will be there to assist our partners, the end-users around the Middle East, to ensure the complete and right specification,” concludes Mackenzie.
