Tarimans Trading, a UAE-based specialist in architectural fittings including window, door and shopfront fittings and accessories, is focusing on increasing its market share through offering high quality goods and a total design flexibility to ease installation, says a Sharjah-based company spokesman.

“The quality of our goods that is backed with a high level of customer service has always been a vital aspect of the company's policies. Our focus has always been on not only meeting but exceeding the customers' expectations and this has been the driving force behind the company,” he says.
Tarimans, which has its head office in Milan, Italy, was established in 1952 to manufacture computerised glass processing machines as well as a wide range of aluminum and glass accessories for both the export and local markets. The Sharjah office was established in 1994.
“The Sharjah branch was established in order to serve the Middle East market. Initially, the branch dealt in chemicals and materials for double glazing and a range of aluminium and glass accessories which are required by architectural aluminium, fabrication and glass processing factories,” the spokesman points out.
“Despite being relatively young, the company has carved a niche in the local market and is considered among the top few establishments in the field of architectural fittings,” he adds.
Beside the fittings, the company is one of the major importers for a wide range of machines for aluminium cutting, crimping, notching bending and double glazing, as well as glass cutting tables, bevelling, grinding and drilling machines, wooden machine, steel machine etc.
He adds: “With its range of Tama Hardware, the company is capable of offering complete solutions in fittings including patch fittings, shower hinges, floor spring, double glazing material, grinding and polishing wheels. Its fittings are available in a range of colours and finishes such as polished stainless steel, satin stainless steel, gold, anodised, and epoxy powder coated and are designed to carry heavy weights.
After making its mark in the UAE market and neighbouring Gulf States as a reliable stockist, the company managed to secure agency rights from many Italian and Far Eastern suppliers.
In early 1998, the company went into sub-contracting business and as a first step established a fully equipped glass processing factory by installing the latest computerised machines for glass bevelling, edge polishing, notching, drilling, sand blasting, double glazing etc.
The company also required agency rights for high-quality stainless steel frameless shopfront accessories. Currently, it is a major supplier and erector of frameless tempered glass, shopfronts, shower doors, balcony and staircase glass handrails in combination with stainless steel, he concludes.
