New non-freeze hose reel launched

Showers and Eyebaths Services of the UK has introduced the CW100 retractable hose reel system to meet the growing need for a washdown hose that doesn’t freeze.
“Discharging chemicals and hazardous materials from tankers into storage containers is one of the most critical actions for any driver to undertake,” says a spokesman. “The need to have a facility ‘on-tap’ to wash away any spills and splashes, either on the driver, the ground or the tanker itself is a priority – even in freezing conditions.”
Allen Yates, managing director of Showers and Eyebaths Services says: “We were getting more and more enquiries for a hose facility that keeps on working throughout the winter. As you can’t drain a hose pipe of water we have solved the problem by providing an insulated cabinet in which to house the reel with the option for an internal heater system.”
