01 March 2006

US-based Michigan Pneumatic Tool has recently launched two new products – an air-powered router and high-speed cone wheel grinder – which will add to the company’s existing wide range of products.

“The MP-22000RTR air powered router features a base with an adjustable depth up to six inches,” says a spokesman for the Detriot-based company.
“Standard features for the MP-22000RTR include a 1/4” collet, a button throttle for smooth operation and control, heavy-duty ball bearing construction for durability and a replaceable plastic base cover. The air-powered router is ideal for wood, fibreglass and aluminium routing in any factory or industrial environment.”

The high-speed, lightweight cone wheel grinder, called the MP-2511 can be used for a host of heavy-duty industrial applications, says the spokesman.
With a 1.50 hp air motor that delivers a no-load operating speed of 12,000 rpm, and a 5/8”-11 threaded spindle, the new MP-2511 is the most powerful grinder available for heavy-duty needs. The MP-2511 is designed to be light and sturdy for the most effective metal removal, and is best suited for cleaning castings, removing fins and grinding welds. A built-in lubricator and automatic governor provide lifelong dependability.
Michigan Pneumatic Tool specialises in air tools for all industries, including automotive, aircraft, assembly, construction and foundry.
