Burmatex, one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of contract carpets and carpet tiles, has launched a new vinyl flooring range which it hopes will help specifiers and architects to “polish up their interior designs with a sleek, contemporary hard flooring finish”.
Known as Mode, the high-quality, commercial vinyl flooring range is available in 13 different realistic wood effects - from maple to distressed oak - plus seven natural stone finishes, including ajax marble and terracotta stone.
“The new collection will replace the previous Burmafloors resilient product range and will bring Burmatex’s hard floor offering up to date – with the same high quality as its popular carpet ranges,” says Mike Clegg, Burmatex sales manager for Mode
Elaborating on the range, he says: “A practical, hard-wearing and affordable solution, Mode is ideally suited for all heavy traffic areas, including retail, offices and leisure applications where appearance and performance go hand in hand.
“We are thrilled with the look and finish of the Mode range and are confident it will bring a dash of style to just about any environment.
“A hard floor covering such as this offers the best of both worlds for buildings - a modern appearance combined with durability and practicality. The hard-wearing attributes of Mode mean it will look just as good as it did when first installed for years to come.”
Mode is the latest range to be launched by Burmatex since it introduced its new corporate branding last September.
Burmatex offers a product range spanning fibre-bonded and tufted carpet in sheet and tile, as well as specialist barrier and entrance matting products. Its focus is on the design and creation of innovative products to meet the needs of architects, specifiers and contractors for the education, leisure, commercial, healthcare and public sectors, the spokesman says.
Burmatex is a member of the Sirdar group of companies.
