Conmex set to showcase the latest machinery

The second edition of Conmex, which opens at the Expo Centre, Sharjah this month (November 5 to 8) will be the launchpad for major leading products from international markets through by different companies including CAT, Al Wasit, EAE, Swaidan Trading, Falcon Motors, SACA International, Santosh, Al Hamad.

The event will also feature a number of national pavilions hosted by countries including Italy, China, India and Japan.
Showcasing over 280 brands from 23 countries, Conmex aim to provide the Middle East's most extensive display of construction plant, machinery, equipment, vehicles, spares and attachments.
The special categories of products being highlighted at the show will include quarry and mining solutions and railway engineering products and solutions.
“The debut edition of Conmex in 2006 achieved an overwhelming success,” says Fasahat Ali Khan, advisor to the chairman and board of directors of Expo Centre Sharjah. “That trend is expected to be repeated during Conmex 2007 as well. One of the main reasons behind Conmex’s huge success has been its exclusive focus.
“The demand for construction plant, machinery, equipment, vehicles, spares and attachments in the Middle East is currently at its peak as a result of the boom in the construction sector and the coming edition of Conmex with its unique exhibit profile is fully geared to meet the industry’s rapidly growing sourcing needs,” he adds.
