Domotex to put the spotlight on floors

The third issue of Domotex Middle East, the only dedicated carpets and floor coverings exhibition in the Mena (Middle East and North Africa) region, will showcase the biggest collection of products under one roof, when it opens at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre from 25 to 27 this month (May).
The comprehensive exhibition, which has already sold out more than 90 per cent of exhibition space and is looking forward to a record turnout, will take advantage of a significant growth of the Middle East market, which is greatly influenced by the region’s massive real estate boom, says a spokesman for Deutsche Messe, the event’s organiser.
According to recent statistics, up to five million residential units are under construction in the GCC, including more than 1,400 new high-profile developments collectively valued at over $697 billion.
Deutsche Messe expects a huge and diverse audience of retail and wholesale buyers, interior designers, architects, property developers, manufacturers, floor fitters and trade specialists to attend the event.
