Four new Liebherr wheeled excavators featuring key enhancements will make their world debut at next month's bauma exhibition in Germany. Two are designed for civil engineering while the other two are purpose built for materials handling, says a Liebherr spokesman.

German giant O&K will be presenting a new machine generation on a 4,000 sq m open-air stand at bauma which will be held in Munich, Germany, next month, as it celebrates its 125th anniversary.

Volvo has introduced a new generation of compact excavators which are said to have been built to do as much as possible in the minimal time and in the narrowest places. There are four models, rated from 2.5 to 4.5 tonnes.
