A key Pan Gulf subsidiary is keenly eyeing a greater role in manufacturing while gearing up to meet the increased demand through a major expansion of its warehousing space.

Emerson Process Management says that two of its pipe products – Micro Motion Coriolis and Rosemount 8800 vortex flowmeters – have been certified to the ASME (American Society for Mechanical Engineers) B31.1 Power Piping design standards, in addition to the existing B31.3 Process Piping design standard.

Gulf Eternit Industries, a member of the UAE-based Future Pipe Industries Group, has commissioned a 176,720-sq-m manufacturing unit in Dubai for the production of fibreglass pipes and fittings for the oil and gas, water and industrial sectors.
