The world’s first fully functional 3D printed building is set to come up in Dubai, it has been revealed. The plans for the office building were unveiled in the emirate in a move that is expected to establish the country’s position as the global centre of technology in architecture, construction and design.






Al Hamra Real Estate Development said the expansion work at its shopping mall in Ras Al Khaimah was progressing well with its completion likely in the third quarter of next year. Once ready, the net leasable area in the Manar Mall will double to 60,000 sq m from the current 30,000 sq m, said its Ras Al Khaimah-based developer and owner.

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) said it has awarded a contract for an internal roads project in the Al Barsha area of the emirate. Al Barsha South 2 will complement the initial phase of the internal roads construction project at South 1 – both of which cost a total of Dh100 million ($27.22 million).
