Tourism Development & Investment Company (TDIC), the master developer of major tourism, cultural and residential destinations in Abu Dhabi, has awarded the main construction contract for Jawaher Saadiyat, a residential community at the Saadiyat Beach District, to Al Jaber Building.






Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) expects to solicit bids within eight months for road projects worth as much as Dh4 billion ($1.1 billion) as part of a bigger drive to upgrade transport links in the city, according to Mattar Al Tayer, the director-general and chairman of the board of executive directors of RTA.






Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa) said its joint venture firm Hassyan Energy Company has awarded a major engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract to Harbin Electric International and General Electric (GE) for its ambitious 2,400 MW Hassyan Clean Coal project.

Abu Dhabi approves $148m projects Abu Dhabi government is set to pump in more than Dh544 million ($148 million) on major infrastructural projects including new internal roads, water networks, a wastewater system, electricity and communication lines and rain water drainage systems, said a report.
