Dammam-based Al Rashed Wood Products Factory (RAR Wood) continues to add to its tally of successful projects in Saudi Arabia, with one of its latest major projects being the construction of the prefabricated main camp and site offices at Fadhili Gas Plant project site.






A consortium of Hyundai Engineering & Construction Company and Dutch project management consultancy Royal HaskoningDHV has won the contract to design ‘the world’s largest maritime yard’ in Saudi Arabia.

Abdul Latif Jameel Land (ALJ Land), one of Saudi Arabia’s leading property developers, said it aims to invest about SR7.5 billion ($1.9 billion) in various development projects across Saudi Arabia by 2022, including SR2 billion ($532 million) this year.






Saudi Electricity Company (SEC), in a major move, is set to invite private investors to participate in creating an additional 5,400 MW of generating capacity across the kingdom, according to a report. These power projects are likely to be executed in phases, said a Reuters report.
