MyCrane, the world’s first digital platform for the search and selection of cranes, has appointed new franchisees in four countries, marking the launch of its operations in the key markets of the UAE, Oman, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.






Crane manufacturer Tadano has launched a new trio of rough-terrain models in the GR Series, which are said to give lifting contractors solutions to meet more diverse application needs.






The new Potain MDT 489 topless crane is ideal for large-scale construction and infrastructure projects, especially the installation of large, prefabricated components, as well as for shipyards and mines with heavy loads to handle, says Manitowoc Cranes.






Hyva, in partnership with Alaa For Industries (AFI) – its distribution partner and service agent in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain – recently delivered 45 cranes in Riyadh. The Hyva HB 50 and HB 60 cranes are now part of a fleet of general cargo handling commercial vehicles operating in Saudi Arabia.






Terex Cranes has unveiled an innovative crane hoist that has been designed to improve safety and work life for tower crane operators. The T-Lift crane hoist runs along a track that is connected to the outside of the tower and can reach any tower height, according to its manufacturer.






A total of 10 topless tower cranes from Italy’s Raimondi Cranes have been helping build the high-rise buildings at The Seef, one of Qatar’s major residential developments situated at the heart of Lusail City waterfront, 22 km north of Doha.






Al Faris Group has recently increased its crawler crane portfolio by taking delivery of four Liebherr crawler cranes in just 12 months. The latest purchase by the Dubai-based crane contractor is an LR 1500 – which is claimed to be the first unit to be delivered to the Middle East. It follows LR 1400, LR 1600/2 and LR 1800-1.0 cranes.
