A UAE manufacturer of water heaters has embarked on a drive to boost its exports in a bid to make its presence felt around the world.

A new brand of water heaters from France has been launched on the Gulf market. The electric heaters, from Atlantic, bear the hallmarks of French quality and innovation, says Paschal Gimeno, a marketing assistant at Atlantic's International Division.

RAK Ceramics (Ras Al Khaimah Ceramics) continues to expand its production lines as it seeks to increase its market share within the UAE and overseas.

Grohe Water Technology, the major sanitary fittings company, made waves at the recent Big 5 show in the UAE, using the exhibition to introduce several new product lines to the Middle East.

Al Mutawa of Oman recently renovated its Muscat showroom, which now features the latest models of bathroom fixtures from Jacob Delafon of France. Al Mutawa has been the exclusive agent for Jacob Delafon in Oman since 1981.

RAK Ceramics' tiles and sanitary ware are natural beauties, says a company spokesman. "We have mastered the art of crafting products with natural themes," he says. "We have always been fascinated by the beauty of nature as is evidenced by a wide range of stone, wood and other natural finishes.
