Dubai's Global Village said it has achieved five stars in its health and safety rating for the second year running in the occupational health and safety Audit (OHS FSA) conducted by the British Safety Council.

 

Global Village is the first family destination for culture, entertainment and shopping in the region. Since its inception, it has embodied different aspects of the world and created a smile on the faces of millions of guests every season. 

 

Last year in November, it became the world’s first entertainment destination to be awarded with the prestigious British Safety Council ‘Sword of Honour’ achievement, following its first five star rating score of 92.82% which was given by the British Safety Council’s OHS FSA earlier in the same year.

 

Lauding the achievement, British Safety Council Chairman Lawrence Waterman said: "Excellence at this level is only made possible through hard work and commitment, and Global Village continues to raise the benchmark of industry standards."

 

Global Village has been ranked the top entertainment destination globally for health and safety and has demonstrated an ongoing proactive commitment to excellence in this regard – achieving an increased score of 94.69% in the British Safety Council’s OHS FSA.
