Bahrain-based Taha International for Industrial Services has stated that the company, relying on the experiences of its Bahraini and foreign cadres, has developed a one-of-a-kind international technology.

 

“Through this technology, Taha's aluminum dross process is a radical innovation that uses less energy and produces no toxic salt cake while keeping the carbon emission at its minimum limits close to zero, marking an unparalleled achievement in the field of environmental preservation,” said Ammar Awachi, CEO of Taha International for Industrial Services.

 

Awachi added that Taha International has granted a license to use this technology to Vedanta Aluminium Business, India’s largest producer of aluminum, which has won the ‘Gold’ award at the (Business World) BW Recycling for a Greener Tomorrow Awards 2022 in ‘Best in Recycling or Material Recovery Facility of the Year’ category.

 

“Taha International is eager to promote this advanced technology globally to improve enhance the image of Bahrain's industrial sector and highlight its companies' ability to launch and adopt the highest international environmental standards, particularly given the growing global interest in this field and Bahrain's endeavor to achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2060,” Awachi said.

 

For his part, Abdul Rahim Abdullah, production manager at Taha International for Industrial Services, emphasised the company’s commitment to continue exploring and adopting advanced technologies to make its industrial operations more sustainable, support the green economy, preserve natural resources through innovation and technology, and meet its environmental obligations.

 

“A recent study conducted by Ernst & Young, the Netherlands in collaboration with the renowned Austrian Montan University concludes that the carbon footprint of Taha’s method vastly outperforms the conventional method otherwise available in Bahrain and most parts of the world, showing a reduction of more than 81% GHG emissions” Abdullah concluded.-TradeArabia News Service
