Hansgrohe puts spotlight on its cutting-edge sustainability vision

Hansgrohe’s cutting-edge sustainability vision, the intricate synergy between elegant design and eco-conscious functionality were highlighted by Martial Gil, Vice President Sales MEA, CIS & LATAM of Hansgrohe Group, during an interaction with the faculty and students from the Department of Architecture at The American University of Sharjah.
During the session, Gil spotlighted AXOR, Hansgrohe's premium brand, highlighting the company’s commitment to not just impeccable design but also to a greener planet.
Gil's extensive experience provided a unique lens through which to view the intersection of design, functionality, and sustainability.
Going beyond just product discussions, Gil delved deep into AXOR collaborations with internationally renowned industrial designers and architects including Philippe Starck and many others, to create world-class products, that offer the ultimate in function engineering and technological solutions, highest aesthetic, conserving resources and appreciation of water itself.
He also highlighted Hangrohe’s “Green Vision”, an ambitious highly innovative concept aimed at reducing water consumption in the bathroom by 90% which has been developed in collaboration with Phoenix Design.
"The mission to protect the previous resource of water is ongoing and it’s a collective responsibility. The innovation is not a solo journey but a collaborative effort that thrives on diverse perspectives and expertise," remarked Gil.
"Sharing important elements of our vision with academia is significant, because it can spark creativity and equip the next generation of architects and designers with the tools and mindsets to transform spaces while considering the ecological footprint, making world a better place to live," he noted.
