Aster DM Healthcare sets Guinness world record
DUBAI, November 18, 2019
One of Aster DM Healthcare’s group hospitals, Ramesh Hospitals Vijawada has set a Guinness World Record for holding the ‘largest gathering of cardiac surgery patients in one place’ with the gathering of 1,020 patients who successfully underwent heart surgery at the hospital in India.
The participating patients were treated for different type of cardiac related operations such as open heart, heart bypass, valve surgery and congenital heart. The aim of attempting this record was to simply create awareness and give hope to people with heart ailments.
The record was monitored by Rishi Nath, the official Guinness World Records adjudicator. It is a milestone in the three-decade long illustrious history of Dr Ramesh Cardiac & Multi-specialty Hospitals which has completed twenty thousand surgeries of which two thousand are paediatric cardiac surgeries and interventions.
