DUBAI, August 26, 2020

Dubai ranks first in the Mena region and third in the world in the number of foreign direct investment (FDI) projects attracted over a decade from 2010 to 2019 after London and Singapore, according to the Financial Times’ (FT) fDi Markets data.

The fDi Markets Data, which monitors capital flows in greenfield FDI projects worldwide, ranks Dubai as a major city in all benchmarking reports and city performance rankings in attracting foreign direct investment. While cities are classified as large, medium, and small, Dubai is classified as a Major city due to the strategic advantages and sustainable performance in attracting investment.
