Alfa Laval names new cluster president for Middle East, Africa

Alfa Laval, a leading Swedish based company with expertise in providing solutions for on-site water and waste treatment sector, has announced the appointment of Cedric Domont as the new Cluster President for Middle East and Africa. 
 
With a customer base of over 1,000 satisfied clients and 36,500 installed units, Alfa Laval Middle East has consistently delivered excellence and innovation. 
 
Some of its key achievements in the region include notable projects include providing heat exchangers for HVAC applications in Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, and supplying compact heat exchangers for the world’s largest green hydrogen plant in NEOM, showcasing the company’s pioneering efforts in sustainability across the region and the world, said the company in a statement.
 
An industry veteran, Domont brings with him over two decades of experience within Alfa Laval, having joined the company in 2003.
 
Throughout his tenure, Cedric has held several key positions in sales and marketing, showcasing his strategic leadership and deep understanding of Alfa Laval’s operations. 
 
Notably, between 2014 and 2019, Cedric was based in Dubai, where he worked with the Middle East and Africa Sales Teams and Customers, gaining invaluable insight into the region’s unique dynamics and market potential, said the statement.
 
Most recently, Cedric served as the Managing Director for Alfa Laval Benelux, where he successfully led business growth and operational excellence, it stated. 
 
His return to Dubai marks a new chapter, as he brings a wealth of expertise to further strengthen Alfa Laval’s services and customer excellence in the Middle East and Africa.
 
On his appointment, Domont said: "I am excited to return to Middle East and Africa, a region I know well and hold close to my heart. This region holds immense potential, and I am eager to work closely with our teams and partners to build on Alfa Laval’s legacy of innovation and sustainability. Together, we will continue to create value for our customers and contribute to the region’s development."
 
Cedric has taken the helm of the region’s operations from Dubai, focusing on driving sustainable innovation, enhancing customer excellence, and developing strong partnerships.
 
Alfa Laval Middle East launched its operations in 1994 from a regional office in UAE. Currently, the company boasts over 230 employees across 12 sites, six service centres, and nine field service stations, serving 43 countries in the Middle East, Egypt, and Southeast Africa.-TradeArabia News Service
