The Bahrain British Business Forum (BBBF) hosted a members’ business networking event yesterday (September 25) at the Capital Club to welcome the newly appointed British Ambassador Roddy Drummond.

Khalid Al Zayani OBE, chairman of the Bahrain British Business Forum, the BBBF executive committee, and forum members gathered to meet Drummond.

Louis Taylor, chief executive of UK Export Finance (UKEF) and the director general in the Department for International Trade also attended the event.

The BBBF is an active network of business people in the kingdom with more than 470 members. It was set up in 1995 to promote trade and investment between Bahrain and Britain. The forum works to create and sustain a favourable business environment and strives to assist and introduce new trade and investment to both countries to benefit and enhance the common economic interests of their member companies. – TradeArabia News Service
