A webinar providing insights into how Sohar Port and Freezone in Oman provides an unrivalled benefit for the food business will take place here on Tuesday, August 31.

 

It is organised by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), in association with Sohar Port and Freezone, and is the second of the five-part webinar series, “Food for Thought: Setting up your Food Business in Sohar to Maximise your Market Reach”. 

 

This webinar will offer Indian Food and Beverage companies’ insights into the GCC food industry, current trends, developments, challenges and opportunities for food trade, processing and logistics, a release said.

 

The agenda includes Sohar’s Strategic Advantages by Robert Bartstra, Executive Manager Commercial, Sohar Port & Freezone;  and Food Developments in the GCC and Oman by Sofie Tolk - Cluster Development Manager, Sohar Port and Freezone.

 

The Panel Discussion will focus on Sohar Food Cluster Opportunities.
