The Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (Adihex) has announced that Caracal, a regional leader in the design and production of high-performance firearms, will be the ‘Weaponry Sponsor’ for the 21st edition.

Take placing under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of the Emirates Falconers’ Club, Adihex will showcase its most diverse and rich array of activities yet, with live performances, exciting competitions, and leading heritage and sports displays.

Established in 2007, Abu Dhabi-based Caracal is a rapidly growing leader in the design, manufacture, test, and maintenance of firearms from 9mm to 12.7mm calibre.

Its current product portfolio chambered in 9x19mm includes the Caracal EF and Caracal F GEN II combat pistols, and the CMP 9 submachine gun.

Assault rifles include the mission-proven CAR 816 assault rifle, chambered in 5.56x45mm, and the CAR 817 assault rifle, chambered in 7.62mm.

In the higher calibres, Caracal offers a range of rugged precision sniper rifles, including the CSR family of bolt-action sniper rifles, chambered in .308 Winchester, .338 Lapua Magnum, and 12.7x99mm, the CAR 817 DMR, chambered in 7.62x51mm, and the CSA 338 semi-automatic sniper rifle, chambered in .338 Lapua Magnum.

Additionally, new Liwa Arms hunting rifles will be on display, as well as a selection of premium hunting rifles from Merkel, Caracal’s German subsidiary, renowned for over a century of crafting perfectly balanced luxury hunting rifles.

Over more than two decades, Adihex said it has created a legacy that cements Abu Dhabi’s position as a leader in the hunting and conservation sectors. This edition has been organised by the Emirates Falconers’ Club with Adnec Group as a strategic partner.
