Bahrain-based Euro Motors Jaguar Land Rover said it is offering its customers an extended warranty option on all the Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles.

In order to complement its acclaimed aftersales services, the extended warranty option will provide customers satisfaction long after the vehicle has been purchased, and also offers them a generous claim limits - up to the purchase price of the car, said a statement from the company.

The extended warranty comes into effect once the vehicle exceeds three years from the date of delivery and expires after five years from the date of delivery or at 250,000 km for Jaguar owners, except for the Jaguar E-Pace which expires at 150,000 km, whichever comes first, it stated.

The extended warranty provides comprehensive coverage against unexpected mechanical and electrical vehicle failure; the categories covered typically include engine components, powertrain control unit, gearbox and suspension as well as catalytic convertors and electrical systems amongst others, said the statement.

With travel protection also included in the extended warranty, customers will be able to benefit from road side assistance while travelling to a number of countries in the Middle East and North Africa (Mena) region which includes: Jordan, Lebanon, Oman, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Egypt, Kuwait, Morocco and Tunisia.

Customers who choose the one year extension will add a year to their warranty period or 25,000 km, whichever occurs first. Should a customer choose the two year extension, they will add an additional two years to their warranty period or 50,000 km, whichever occurs first.

Both extension packages can be purchased by customers as long as the vehicle’s age is over 24 months and less than 60 months/145,000 km, whichever occurs first, from the date of delivery to the first owner, it stated. – TradeArabia News Service
