Hong Kong airport resumes ops as court bans protests
HONG KONG, August 14, 2019
Airlines stranded at the Hong Kong International Airport scrambled on Wednesday to return services to normal in the wake of an injunction obtained by the Airport Authority Hong Kong banning protests at the premises said.
The interim injunction restrains persons from unlawfully and wilfully obstructing or interfering with the proper use of Hong Kong International Airport, the Authority said on its website.
Persons are also restrained from attending or participating in any demonstration or protest or public order event in the Airport other than in the area designated by the Airport Authority.
