Queen Alia Airport chosen best in the region
AMMAN, November 3, 2020
The Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) has received the title of ‘Best Airport by Size and Region: Middle East’ for airports serving five to 15 million passengers - for the second consecutive year.
This global recognition was granted by the Airports Council International (ACI) based on the 2019 Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Survey, which represents the highest possible accolade for airport operators worldwide.
“Winning this prestigious title for the second time in a row and the third time in our history is yet another proud milestone for QAIA - further strengthening our unique service offering. This accomplishment would not have been possible without the collective efforts of our teams, stakeholders and partners, all of whom are dedicated to continuously enhancing our service levels in order to ultimately present passengers with a positively memorable experience that is carefully designed to make them feel right at home - from the familiarity of the airport and the ease of its navigation to the warmth of its welcome and the cordiality of its staff,” commented Airport International Group CEO, Nicolas Claude.
Since its inception in 2006, the ASQ Survey has become the world’s leading airport passenger satisfaction benchmark, with approximately 400 participating airports across 95 countries.
With all involved airports using the same survey, the ASQ Awards database allows for conducting clear and instant analyses and comparisons of each of the 34 indicators in the ASQ Departures Survey and the 29 indicators in the ASQ Arrivals Survey against other airports - locally, regionally and globally.
Its scientific methodology, strict quality control procedures and commitment to impartiality have won industry acknowledgement and established the ASQ surveys suite as the global standards for measuring passenger satisfaction. -- Tradearabia News Service
