Damac Properties has announced the structural completion of its eighth project over the last one year with the final concrete pour on its Park Towers project at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).
The unique 46-floor dual-tower development, designed by Gensler, is due to be handed over later this year and will be one of the most iconic projects in the DIFC neighbourhood. The Park Towers project is being constructed by Sharpoorji Pallonji. Damac also said it has awarded new construction contracts for developments in Business Bay, Reem Island and Egypt as part of its commitment to construction and delivery of its projects.
Park Towers will offer more than 500 apartments in a range of sizes. Thanks to its glazed finish, each apartment will offer stunning views of the growing and maturing DIFC landscape.
Meanwhile, Damac Properties has said that 2010 will be the year of handovers – with more than six other projects due to be completed in Dubai during the next 12 months.
Among those to be handed over are two phases of the company’s Emirates Gardens development and Tuscan Residences at Jumeirah Village South, Lago Vista at IMPZ, XL Tower and Business Tower at Business Bay and Smart Heights at Tecom. The six projects together will deliver over offer 3,000 new units this year. In addition, it is expected that Ocean Heights – the company’s 84 storey flagship development at Dubai Marina – will also be complete by the end of the year.
