Peri opens Muscat office

German formwork systems leader Peri is opening a branch office in Muscat, Oman, this month, to strengthen customer relations.
“As business in Oman is picking up, we took a strategic decision to establish a permanent office in Oman, which will help us to be closer to our customers and therefore provide even an better service,” says Hans-Joachim Rau, managing director, Peri.
The German market leader in the development, manufacture and supply of formwork systems, has its head office in Southern Germany and is supported by 47 subsidiary companies worldwide with a total of 5,200 staff, and an annual worldwide turnover approaching €1.22 billion ($1.7 billion) (2008).
The regional subsidiary was formed in 1997 to improve and expand the services of the existing representative office, which was established in Dubai, UAE in 1994. During the past 12 years, Peri has been involved in some of the most prestigious projects in the Gulf, including the Emirates Towers in Dubai and the Saadiyat Bridge in Abu Dhabi.
