MORE than 1,000 people including contractors, engineers and architects and other professionals visited Haider Wooden Work Factory’s stand at gulfBID, giving a major boost to the company’s business prospects.

The company, which undertakes all kinds of wood works such as doors, windows, bedroom suites, wall decorations, cupboards, kitchen cabinets, reception desks and ceilings, put on display a wide range of products that caught the attention of visitors.
The Bahrain company was so impressed by the response that it has already decided to return to the show next year. “Yes, we would definitely like to come back again,” says Habib Haider Amanalla, project manager for the company.
He says the company had lately undertaken a good number of projects, brightening its future business outlook. “We do our best and utilise our best concepts to provide the most modern designs.”
With experienced hands at its disposal, the factory handles all kinds of interior decoration works for villas, shops and offices. “We have recently completed 82 villas at Saar,” he adds.
On the method of doing business, Amanalla says: “We pride ourselves on our excellent reputation for quality. Upon receipt of an order, specifications and project details are carefully studied and reviewed. Following this, skilled draughtsmen prepare detailed drawing required for obtaining the necessary approvals from all concerned departments. After an agreement with the client, our carpenters start work in accordance with the design, and craft it and paint it before installing it on site.”
During the execution of work, every stage is carefully monitored to ensure that the work complies with the specifications of the approved drawing. This systematic and coordinated effort ensures that the finished project meets client expectations and also excels in terms of quality standards, he says.
This year saw the addition of many new products in the company’s existing range, such as new door paints and designs, to fulfil customer requirements. It has also added new wall panels designed using CNC (computerised numerical controlled) machines.
Haider Wooden Work Factory was established in 1961, and is located at Salmabad with a carpentry section covering 350 sq m and a paint shop over 700 sq m, employing a staff of 38. With decades of experience, the company has been providing customers with the most modern designs in wooden works besides a wide range of paint products.
Highly-skilled craftsmen, the latest machinery and modern concepts have enabled the company to produce high-quality products, in order to satisfy the requirements of clients. Today, the company serves not only Bahrain, but also the markets in Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
