EMCO and Saudi Binladin Group (SBG) – PCM division (now, PCMC) have won the Best Water Project of the Year Award for their collaboration on a nano-filtration project in Hail, Saudi Arabia.

Providing drinking water for one million people in Hail province, the plant will the largest of its kind in the Middle East and the second largest nano-filtration system worldwide, when completed. The 150,000-cu-m-per-day nano-filtration project is being jointly constructed by Emco and SBG – PCM division for Ministry of Water and Electricity, Hail Directorate. The award was presented during the Annual H2O Water Awards held in November last year in Dubai, UAE.
