UNITED Mechanical Equipment Trading (UME) has recently launched Sany rough-terrain cranes on the UAE market, boosting the choice of mobile cranes available to construction companies, contractors and the plant, machinery and vehicles (PMV) industry in the emirates.

As the exclusive agent of Sany mobile cranes and Feeler forklifts in the UAE, the Abu Dhabi-based company says its sales of these mobile cranes crossed $18 million from January to August 2012 with advance bookings worth $5 million till the end of this year.

The Sany brand attracts the market with its high quality, specifications, excellent performance, competitive price and good customer satisfaction, said Saif Al Neaimi, general manager.

UME, based in Musaffah, has a staff strength of 380 and is managed by the Al Neaimi family, a leading UAE family business house which has 35 years of group experience and service excellence in the mobile cranes, forklifts and heavy equipment market. The company has a large service centre and spare parts yard in addition to a newly opened showroom in Musaffah.

The company was set up with a vision is to be a world leader in mobile cranes and forklifts supplies; lead the Sany mobile cranes and Feeler forklift brands in the UAE.

Sany mobile cranes are available in the categories of truck (25 tonnes to 130 tonnes); all-terrain (up to 1,200 tonnes); rough-terrain (35 tonnes to 75 tonnes); and special-purpose cranes.

Sany mobile cranes are safe, productive and economic. They have an ultra-long boom, a high-performance chassis, a technologically-advanced hydraulic system, and an advanced control system, said Hansraj Bhatia, sales manager.

The cranes are equipped with a colour LCD, integrated load moment indicators, hook load, rated load, boom length, angle, pressure sensors on the counter balance valve, and limit function, among other features.

“Today, Sany mobile cranes provide value for money to customers with world-class products to serve any industry,” Bhatia added.

“Sany uses the best manufacturing techniques and world renowned components in the making of its mobile cranes including Bosch Rexroth, Kawasaki, and Mercedes Benz engines. They also comply with ISO and CE standards,” said Ahmed Choudhary, marketing manager.
