Decofair to line up top interior design brands

01 October 2014

DECOFAIR 2014, Saudi Arabia’s premium international furniture and interior design show, has announced its strongest global representation to date, with top international interior design brands confirming their participation.

More than 20 countries will be represented in the sixth edition of the show, which will take place next month (November 10 to 13) at the Jeddah Centre for Forums and Events.

Organised by Reed Sunaidi Exhibitions, Decofair covers nine key sectors – furniture, furnishings, flooring, accessories, lighting, textiles and soft furnishings, outdoor furniture, kitchen and bathroom products, and design and architectural services.

US-based design association IIDA will support Decofair as strategic design and knowledge partner.

Naomi Barton, international sales and marketing director, Reed Sunaidi Exhibitions, commented: “Decofair is now widely recognised as the most credible and influential interior design show in Saudi Arabia, and our sixth edition is even more focused on connecting exhibitors with the growing business design community in the kingdom.”

International brands and country pavilions will be from countries such as the UK, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Turkey, the UAE, Egypt and Malaysia. World-renowned international brands include Vondom (Spain), Fatboy, Scavolini, DG Mosaic, Asdi Italian Chair District (Italy), Dogtas (Turkey), Jotun, Hansgrohe, Jacuzzi, Art Ceram, Swarovski, Gautier, Volga Linen and William Garvey Bespoke Furniture among others.

Decofair aims to offer local, regional and international design suppliers, manufacturers and service providers business development and networking opportunities under a business matching programme via the Decofair 2014 hosted buyer programme. The programme is a priority business service that matches a buyer’s sourcing requirements with exhibitor products and services.

More than 13,000 visitors including architects, designers, specifiers, consultants, contractors, distributors, hospitality professionals and high net-worth individuals in Saudi Arabia will look at sourcing mid to high-end interior and exterior products and suppliers for their residential, commercial, hospitality and retail projects.

Additionally, this year’s Decofair Student Design Display will offer students from the country, for the second year running, the opportunity to display their work to an international audience of industry professionals.
