Telehandler majors at Samoter
Big names in the telehandler sector have already confirmed attendance as exhibitors at Samoter, says the organiser of Italy’s key exhibition for earthmoving, site and building machinery, which will be held this month (February 22 to 25).
Bobcat, Dieci, Faresin Industries, Manitou, Merlo and, for the first time, Magni Telescopic Handlers, will showcase their latest equipment in Hall 5 and the Outdoor Area B at Veronafiere fairgrounds in Verona, Italy.
The focus at Samoter 2017 is on technologies and solutions for prevention and management of environmental emergencies. It is held in conjunction with Asphaltica (an exhibition on road infrastructure organised in collaboration with Siteb) and Transpotec Logitec (the transport and logistics event by Fiera Milano). Exhibiting companies cover all sectors, from earthmoving to hoisting, concrete, drilling, crushing, vehicles, components and services.
Furniture show attracts 300
More than 10,000 trade professionals from the Middle East and North Africa (Mena) region and beyond are expected to attend the upcoming Dubai International Furniture Accessories and Components and Semi-Finished Products Show (Difac) in Dubai, UAE, next month.
The show, which will run from March 7 to 9 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, is being organised by Strategic Marketing and Exhibitions in conjunction with Dubai Wood Show. It will attract 300 exhibitors from 100 countries around the world, said the state news agency Wam.
Exhibitors will get a chance to deal directly with key visitors and players from the wood industry, which will allow them to expand their professional networks and to create real business opportunities, said a spokesman for the organiser.
FM Expo Saudi draws thousands
FM Expo Saudi 2017, held last month at the Jeddah Centre for Forums and Events in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, drew thousands of facilities management professionals to the dedicated industry event.
The latest products, services and technologies on offer for the sector in Saudi Arabia were showcased through the many live demonstrations at the stands.
The event, co-located with Saudi Clean Expo and HVAC R Expo Saudi, provided networking opportunities and the chance to participate in free educational programmes. Days two and three saw the Middle East Facility Management Association (Mefma) host a series of certified CPD (continuing professional development) workshops designed to address some of the most critical challenges in the Saudi Arabian market.
