Design start-up drives innovation

01 May 2018

Bahraini start-up Just Design It (JDI) made its debut at the Interiors Expo last month by showcasing its interior design capabilities that cover a wide portfolio including offices, hotels, auditoria, homes and other facilities.

The firm’s managing director, Shayma Juma, says JDI is focusing on interior designing projects and aims to expand activities in Bahrain and the neighbouring countries. It has undertaken interior design projects for residence and commercial customers in the past.

JDI offers professional services and products in many different fields including interior and landscape design, branding, event management, graphic design, advertising, marketing and consultation, training and workshops, social media artwork, web design and public relations. It specialises in design and implementation on a turnkey basis. In addition, it provides consultancy on various interior design-related projects.

“With a modest beginning and steady progress, JDI is now able to offer a more comprehensive set of products and services and is poised to bring in international expertise to this region by collaborating with international organisations,” says Juma.

According to her, creative thought, innovation and keeping abreast with the latest trends are the firm’s hallmarks. “Our designs are trendy, imaginative and eye-catching. In exteriors, our creativity takes landscaping to new heights with unconventional designs,” she adds.

On the marketing and consultation front, the company’s ability to bring in new ideas and innovation makes clients feel they are achieving a new experience in branding, advertising and marketing, Juma says.

“JDI can generate highly sophisticated graphic designs that take advertising to a different sphere altogether.

“Meanwhile, the firm’s strength in research contributes to the productive use of social media for clients,” she remarks.

JDI also supports clients in creating awareness about various interior design aspects through project-based training and workshops.

Among future plans, Juma says JDI intends to aggressively market its products and services; collaborate with related firms; and implement an organisational expansion.
