Big names at materials handling expo
The industry’s biggest names are exhibiting at Materials Handling Middle East 2015, which has sold out of exhibition space, according to the organisers.
The event, which takes place this month (September 14 to 16) at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre in Dubai, UAE, aims to tap into the opportunities offered to the materials handling sector against the backdrop of multi-billion-dollar investments in commercial and civil infrastructure projects across the GCC. According to industry reports, the Gulf region awarded $86 billion worth of infrastructure projects in 2014, with the increased investments fuelling demand for providers of logistics, transportation, materials handling, and supply chain solutions.
Spotlight on water sector
The IWE Istanbul Water Expo for water and wastewater treatment technologies to be held this month (September 3 to 5) in Turkey will host more than 100 local and international technology, equipment and service providers. These include industry professionals and the decision makers of governmental and private institutions who will discuss solid business and partnership opportunities in this crucial sector.
Organised by ITE Turkey’s subsidiary EUF International Trade Fairs, the exhibition will be held at Istanbul Expo Centre and will focus on water and wastewater treatment technologies and investment opportunities. The event has the support of several Turkish ministries, municipalities and financial institutions.
R+T Turkey to attract Arab visitors
The R+T Turkey fair for roller shutters, doors/gates and sun protection, which will be held in Turkey in November (12 to 15), is establishing itself as a key meeting place for the sector, providing an important platform for participants from the Arab countries, according to the organisers.
About 91 exhibitors have already registered, 62 of which are from Turkey and 29 are international. The fair will be held at the CNR Expo Fair Centre in Istanbul.
Infra Oman attracts 200 exhibitors
More than 200 local and international exhibitors from various countries will participate at the Infra Oman 2015, the fifth edition of Oman’s international trade event for infrastructure and industrial projects, to be held in Muscat, next month (October 5 to 7) at the Oman International Exhibition Centre.
It will feature countries like India, Iran, Italy, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, the UK, Australia, Austria, Canada, China, France, Germany, Indonesia, Italy, Iran, Lebanon, Libya, South Korea, Turkey, and the UAE.
