Oman’s Haya Water plans to invest about RO1.25 billion ($3.23 billion) in the next few years on building sewage projects in the sultanate’s capital Muscat, a report said.
The company is eyeing building sewage pipelines, trunk lines and sewage treatment plants in six catchment areas, added the Times of Oman report.
A planned world-class wastewater system will also connect 80 per cent of the properties in Muscat by 2020, according to the report.
