Atlas Copco, a world-leading provider of sustainable productivity solutions, has boosted its QIS generators portfolio with further industrial power additions within the 35- to 135-kVA range.
The six new models are designed with modular capabilities to provide optimal performance in demanding conditions for both standby and stationary prime applications, such as data centres, healthcare, utilities and manufacturing and retail market.
These latest additions – the Kubota-engined QIS 35 and QIS 45 units with mechanical speed control, plus the Cummins-powered and electronically-controlled QIS 65, 95,115 and135 generators – have been developed with integrated control, simple installation, transport efficiency and minimum service downtime in mind, says a spokesman for Atlas Copco.
These compact, plug-and-play units offer instant response, guaranteed performance and exceptional reliability, he adds.
Key features of the QIS 35-135 kVA generators include G2 class (ISO 8528) in-line engines, with dual-stage air filtration for increased engine lifetime. Dual-stage fuel and diesel filtration is also provided for units rated above 65 kVA.
“On smaller models below 45 kVA, an electric prime pump with a fuel pre-filter ensures optimum performance in high altitude applications. In addition, the generators’ special fan and cooling system is designed to improve air flow and cope with ambient temperatures up to 50 deg C,” he explains.
All units are mounted on a standard spillage-free frame with integrated forklift slots and are protected by a sound-attenuated and anti-corrosion-treated steel canopy.
