Abu Dhabi-based crane service provider Delta Gulf Group said it has taken delivery of its first Demag AC 250-5 all-terrain crane.
The new crane’s compactness is highly advantageous for projects in the oil fields of Abu Dhabi. It was handed over by regional Demag sales manager Sahil Shaikh.
On the new crane, Delta Gulf CEO Ayman Mousa Almalkh said its large lifting capacities and compact design were the crucial factors that influenced the purchase decision.
“In addition, Demag is not only known for being one of the world’s most long-standing crane manufacturers, but also for the high quality of its products. And since quality is also one of the most important key factors when renting cranes, the AC 250-5 is a perfect match for our fleet,” stated Almalkh.
Moreover, Demag’s fast and outstanding after-sales service made it easy for the people at Delta Gulf to decide on the AC 250-5, he added.
Newly part of the Tadano Group, the Demag brand embodies a 200-year legacy of providing intelligent and innovative lifting solutions. Demag’s city, all-terrain, and lattice boom crawler cranes offer capacities from 45 tonnes to 3,200 tonnes, helping customers to enhance their lifting efficiencies on a range of infrastructure, renewable energy, building and heavy civil construction, utilities, and refining applications.
The Delta Gulf Group boasts two independent companies – Delta Gulf General Transport (a company offering full-service logistics including land, maritime, and air transportation projects) and Delta Gulf Products and Solutions (a specialist in work vehicle and equipment rentals). The UAE-based group has a state-of-the-art fleet with trucks, lowbed trailers, cranes, earthmoving equipment, and power generation equipment.
In addition, the company is engaged in the worldwide trade of pipes and other metal and steel products, including their installation and maintenance.
