Kingsbury Gulf, a leading provider of advanced European machine tooling equipment, inked an exclusive deal with Saftech Engineering Works, a leading UAE-based engineering goods, machining and fabrication services company, during the 16th edition of SteelFab 2020, the region’s premier steel and metal industry event, held in Sharjah, UAE, last month.
Kingsbury Gulf was awarded a contract to supply the UAE-based firm with a C400U 5 Axis milling machine, the most advanced equipment for high-performance, large-scale and high accuracy machining.
The C400U is one of a wider range of five-axis milling machines – computer numerical control machines (CNC) – produced by the German manufacturer Hermle.
Managing director Richard Kingsbury said: ““Our company recognises the UAE to be a worldwide leader in harnessing the power of Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) technology and embracing a transformational approach to shaping the future of manufacturing,” he added.
“Our latest deal with Saftech, a regional heavyweight in supplying manufacturing needs, shows the commitment of the UAE and the wider Gulf in investing in manufacturing innovations to ensure it remains at the forefront of sustainable economic and social development,” he concluded.
Kingsbury Gulf was launched in 2018 as the official representation of the UK company Kingsbury in the Gulf region. It has since expanded its reach to the Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman from its base in Dubai.
