Key events impacted by the coronavirus outbreak

- SaMoTer, Italy’s premier earthmoving and construction machinery industry expo co-located with Asphaltica and ICCX Southern Europe, which was due to take place from March 21 to 25 in Verona, Italy, has been postponed to October 21 to 25.
- Interscaff Arabia, a trade fair on scaffolding, formwork, access equipment and architectural designs, scheduled to be held at the Expo Centre Sharjah, UAE, from March 30 to April 1, has been postponed to next year.
- Oman Design & Build Week, which incorporates The Big Show and Oman Real Estate Exhibition (Orex), earlier slated for March 30 to April 1, has been rescheduled to be held from March 22 to 24, 2021 at the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre in Muscat, Oman.
- International Conference on Novel Innovations and Sustainable Development in Civil Engineering, a major construction industry event, which was scheduled to be held in Chennai, India, from March 31 to April 1, will be held later this year.
- International HVAC+R Symposium, a major event for the heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration industries, due to held in Istanbul, Turkey, from April 1 to 3, will now take place later this year.
- The Nordic BIM Summit, one of the largest industry events in the Nordics in the building and infrastructure sector due to be held in Stockholm, Sweden from March 31 to April 1, has been cancelled.
- Mega City Infrastructure Week, a leading city infrastructure event in the Middle East, which was scheduled for April 5 to 7, at the Taj Hotel in Dubai, UAE, has been moved to September 22 to 24.
- Gulf Property Show, Gulf Construction and Interiors Expo, a trio of leading annual events on the building, interiors and real estate, which was due to be held in April, have been rescheduled to take place from October 5 to 7 at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre, Bahrain.
- Apex, a leading aerial work platform exhibition, co-located with the International Rental Exhibition (IRA), scheduled to be held in June at Maastricht, the Netherlands, has been postponed to September 8 to 10.
