Azizi Developments has awarded contracts to mechanical and electrical engineering consultancy Mario Associates for providing MEP (mechanical, engineering and plumbing) design review and advisory services and Salama Structural Engineers to provide value engineering services for its upcoming projects across Dubai.
The MEP contract constitutes a broad spectrum of consulting services, including the review of the existing design of Azizi’s upcoming projects based on best performance, market practice, codes and standards, operational efficiency, constructability, and safety, while the value engineering deal entails reviewing the design criteria to enhance the overall building performance.
Meanwhile, Azizi Developments has awarded a Dh20 million ($5.4 million) contract to SS Lootah, a major concrete supplier in the region, to source C40 and C45 grade of ready-mix concrete for 16 buildings in Riviera’s Phase One and Three.
Riviera is Azizi’s renowned waterfront lifestyle community project located in the heart of MBR City, which, upon its completion, will comprise more than 16,000 residences spread across 71 mid-rise buildings, overlooking an extensive retail boulevard, a canal walk with artisan eateries and boutiques, and Les Jardins – a lush-green social space. Designed to introduce the French-Mediterranean lifestyle to Dubai, Riviera represents a new landmark that will add value to the real estate landscape, it adds.
Azizi Developments is also investing over Dh100 million into the landscaping and further enhancements of Riviera’s Phases One and Two, to develop lifestyle-enhancing communal spaces. These additions will encompass several key features, including swimming pools, yoga studios, barbeque facilities, shaded playgrounds for kids and more.
