The top brass at Reynaers Middle East (RME), the Bahrain-based regional office of the leading European aluminium solutions provider Reynaers, met last month at the kingdom’s Novotel Hotel to discuss their strategic plans and chart a roadmap for growth over the next three years.

Managers of various teams at the company highlighted the progress achieved by their departments over each quarter of the year and outlined their short- and long-term plans to support the company’s vision and business objectives during a full-day workshop that was held to discuss the achievements, challenges faced, pinpoint the weaknesses that need to be addressed, developments within the group, goals and expectations.

“To spearhead interdepartmental collaboration, our managers exchanged vital information that will promote teamwork. This apart, a SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats) analysis was presented for each of the departments by the manager,” says Ali Khalaf, Managing Director, Reynaers Middle East.

“During the meeting, our teams were briefed about the product development that has been taking place at the head office and they provided input about market requirements,” he indicates.

At a brain-storming session, the managers discussed potential opportunities that can be used to leverage some of the key strengths of the company as well as the market limitations of key areas that Reynaers Middle East covers including the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt.

Marketing segmentation dynamics were drawn for both business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) segments, Khalaf adds.

The evening ended with a team-building dinner at the Nasif restaurant with further exchange of ideas.
